Q. How did you decide on the sites ResumeDirector.com
posts to?
A. We are constantly surveying recruiters and employers to find out which job sites they find
most valuable. With the current economic conditions, many employers are not using the top sites
like Monster and CareerBuilder because of their high cost. Instead, they are turning to some of the lesser-known
but still effective general job boards and to niche sites. Recruiting firms especially tend to look on
niche sites so they can present employers with job seekers who may not be easily found by their clients
on the major job boards. We keep our finger on
the pulse of the recruiting industry to insure your resume will be seen and you'll get the
job you want.

Q. How can I select additional sites to post on later?
A. If you decide after your initial order that you want to post on additional sites in categories that you
hadn't selected, simply log back in to our site and click "Send Resume/Status Report", where you'll be able to
check the additional sites you want to post to.
return to questions
Q. Which sites can you post my resume to?
A. We can post your resume on all the important job boards. For a complete
list, click here.
return to questions
Q. How long will it take to post my resume on these
sites?
A. As soon as you've filled out our forms, which will take no more than 15
minutes if you have a resume available, our system will begin working on automatically
registering you on the sites you choose. Typically this process will be done within
a few hours. ResumeDirector.com is the fastest way to get your resume on the Internet's
top job boards.
return to questions
Q. How will I know my resume has been posted on
these sites?
A. Once the posting process begins, you'll be able to view a live posting report
showing the status of each job site your resume is being posted to (for a sample
report, click here). Also, most of the sites will
send you an e-mail confirmation with your username and password for their sites (which
will usually be the same username and password you chose for this site).
return to questions
Q. What if my resume is already posted on some of the job sites?
A. When we post your resume, because it's new, it will show up towards the top of the search results when recruiters
and employers search for resumes. Even if you had an older resume posted on a particular job site, the new resume we post will
be posted and will show up towards the top of the search results.
return to questions
Q. How will employers and recruiters contact me?
A. Employers and recruiters will contact you directly at the e-mail address you
specified, unless you also provide a phone number in which case they could also contact
you by telephone.
return to questions
Q. Are there employers looking for part-time workers or off-site workers?
A. Yes! If you're looking to get noticed by employers looking for a very specific type of employee, this is the
best way to do it. Because our service posts your resume on all of the top job boards used by recruiters, your chances
of being noticed by an employer with a very specific need are much greater using ResumeDirector.com than if you just post your
resume on one or two sites yourself. In addition, we offer several targeted job boards that may serve the particular niche
you are seeking a job in.
return to questions
Q. Are there any jobs in my city/town?
A. If there are any recruiters looking for qualified employees in your location, chances are we will get you in
front of those employers. If you're having a hard time finding jobs in your area, it could be that your resume is not
in one of the job banks being used by employers there. By using ResumeDirector.com, you increase your chances of being
found by employers in your area exponentially!
return to questions
Q. What if I don't live in the U.S.?
A. Currently, the majority of the job boards we post to were designed to serve job seekers in the
United States. However, if you currently live in another country but you want to work in the U.S., you may
be able to take advantage of the service. Because most job boards require a U.S. telephone number and address,
we would suggest using the phone number and address of a relative or friend you plan to stay with when you
move to the U.S. when you sign up if you do not have a U.S. address yourself.
return to questions
Q. Are there any headhunter fees involved?
A. None of the sites we post your resume on charge any fees to job seekers for placing you in a job.
The only
fee you will incur is our one-time fee for distributing your resume. This is simply a charge to cover our costs for
doing the work for you and is not a headhunter fee. In fact, you could do the same thing we do if you don't mind spending
over 80 hours researching sites and filling out forms. Many people prefer to save the time and find their dream job
faster so they come to us.
return to questions
Q. How long will my resume remain active?
A. It depends on the individual sites. As a general rule, the minimum amount of time
your resume will stay active on each site will be at least one to three months. Some sites will
keep your resume active indefinitely (or until you request that it be deactivated). Other sites
will e-mail you after a certain period of time inviting you to renew your account by clicking on a
link.
return to questions
Q. Will I still be able to take advantage of all the features the job sites offer?
A. Yes. Our service posts your resume on the job sites the same way you would if you were doing it yourself. Therefore, all
the features that are available for users of each job site will be available to you. For example, you'll be able to set up job search
agents to email jobs to you; if the site has an option to have the resume you have posted with them sent to an employer in response to
a job listing, that function will be available; and you'll be able to use the editing functions to update your profile manually on
the individual sites if you like. After using our service to post your resume on the sites, you will receive confirmation e-mails
from the individual job sites providing your username, password and any information you will need to be able to log on and update
your profile with them if you like.
return to questions
Q. Will you target my specific industry?
A. Yes. ResumeDirector.com is the best way to get in front of recruiters
searching for talented people in your specific industry. In addition to posting to some
of the best niche job boards, we also post to general sites such as Monster, Recruiters Online,
CareerBuilder, etc. where recruiters are looking for people in specific industries. Some
recruiters will be recruiting from niche sites to find people in your industry, and some will
be recruiting from the more general sites. ResumeDirector.com lets you be everywhere
at once by posting your resume on lots of job sites. We maximize your chances of being found
by the recruiter who has the perfect job for you.
return to questions
Q. Is there a limit to how long my resume can be?
A. It depends on the individual sites. Most sites we post to do not impose a limit on the length of your
resume. In general, recruiters recommend keeping your resume at one to two pages. The following is a list of
sites currently imposing a size limit: BankJobs (20000 characters); FreshJobs (10000 characters); JavaJobs (8000 characters); JobAdventure (10000 characters); JobsCity.net (8000 characters); Jobvertise (8000 characters); MyCareerSpace (10000 characters); Net-Temps (15000 characters); PostJobFree (30000 characters); TechJobsCafe (29900 characters); Jobirn (10000)
.
If your resume is longer than any of these above lengths, ResumeDirector.com will automatically trim your
resume to the maximum length when posting to those sites.
return to questions
Q. How do you handle posting to sites that require that work experience and other
biographical information be entered into separate fields?
A. Some career sites allow your resume to be posted by copying and pasting your resume text and then filling out
fields pertaining to your desired job type, work location, employment status, etc. Other sites do not accept just copied
and pasted resume text and instead require work experience, education, etc. to be entered in separate fields. To get you
on job sites fast, we provide the option of posting to the first group right away without having to fill in individual work
experience and education information. Paid members of ResumeDirector.com have access to a resume wizard which prompts for
individual education and work experiences so your resume can be posted on sites that require information to be entered in
that format.
return to questions
Q. Why do you ask for things like Years of Experience and Dates of Employment?
A. All the fields you fill out on our site are there because the majority of the job boards we post to
require them. Many job boards will let you post your resume without providing the start and end dates for your
previous positions and your education. For those job boards, we just transmit your pasted resume and do not require that
you fill in those additional fields. For the job boards that do require the start and end dates, you will be given
an opportunity to provide that information.
return to questions
Q. Do you have staff members submitting my resume to all the sites or is it automated?
A. It's really both. We have staff members constantly visiting job boards to determine those that may be a good
fit for our service. When a job board is identified that we feel would be of value to our subscribers, someone sits down and
maps the fields on the job board's forms to the fields on our registration pages. When you sign up with our service, you will
notice that we have many options available for type of work desired, work location, etc. This is done to maximize the information
we have about you on file so that we can get your profile posted accurately on all of the sites. In addition, if for some reason
the automated post to one or more of the sites fails, a member of our staff will take a closer look at what's happening and either
correct the problem themselves or get in touch with you to request any additional information that may be needed to get your
resume posted on all the sites.
return to questions
Q. What if I want to post more than one version of my resume?
A. Many job sites have a limit of one resume per account. Therefore, if you want to post more
than one version of your resume on the job sites, we recommend creating two accounts with ResumeDirector.com. Your
second account would have to have a different e-mail address. If you don't already have more than one e-mail address, you can
sign up for one for free with HotMail.com or Yahoo.com. Please note that while it is possible to have more than one account
on the various job sites, some sites may have a one account per customer policy so you must take responsibility for
having more than one account yourself.
return to questions
Q. Do you include any other features with my purchase aside from resume posting?
A. Yes! We have put together a complete package to help you accelerate your job search. Click here to
find out what's included.
return to questions
Q. What if I want to modify my resume after posting it to all the job boards?
A. Our system creates accounts for you on all the job boards you select with our service as it posts your resume. You can easily log in
to your account on any of the job sites through the live Status Report page you'll have access to after posting. The status report page has links you
can click to be logged in to the job sites from one central location. So it's very easy for you to log in to any site we've posted your resume on and make changes
to your resume. Once you use our service to post your resume on the various sites, we are unable to log in to your
personal accounts for you to make changes. You are free to make changes on your own though.
return to questions
Q. Why did your service register me on some job boards with an email address ending in "@instantposting.com"?
A. In order to reduce the chance of your receiving SPAM e-mail as a result of posting your
resume, our system may assign you @instantposting.com email addresses for some or all of the
sites we post your resume on. When someone sends an email to an @instantposting.com email address
that's assigned to you, the email first goes through our SPAM filters and if it's a legitimate job offer
or inquiry from an employer, it will be forwarded along to your real e-mail address. We have taken this
step to provide you with a higher-quality service and it will in no way impact recruiters' ability to
contact you.
return to questions
Q. I see many of the sites on the Send Resume page, but some sites such as BestJobsUSA.com are not available. How can I get access to these other sites?
A. If you go to the Send Resume page and you can access some of the sites but not all of them, it probably means you have not
entered the additional career/biographical information needed by these other sites. Towards the bottom of the Send Resume page, you'll see a paragraph explaining
that you can post to the Bonus Sites once you complete the Resume Wizard. click on the link in that paragraph to enter the Resume Wizard.
return to questions
Q. How will I recognize the charge on my credit card statement?
A. The service will be charged to your card by our parent company, Hire Resumes, Inc.
return to questions
Q. What is the cost to use this service?
A. There's a one-time fee of $59.95. This is not a monthly fee and we will not charge your credit card again after the one-time fee is charged, unless you
specifically order another service from our company in the future.
return to questions
Q. What is your money-back guarantee?
A. Our 100% Money-Back Guarantee: We guarantee your resume will be posted on job sites within 72 hours of submitting your order.
If you can point out how we did not perform as guaranteed, we'll give you 100% of your money back.
