Q. Why does the report show @instantposting.com for my email address?
A. When you sign up for our service, if you select the option to conceal your real e-mail address (which is recommended), our system will assign you one or more email addresses at instantposting.com. This reduces the chance of your receiving SPAM e-mail as a result of posting your resume. When someone sends an email to an @instantposting.com email address that's assigned to you, the email first goes through our SPAM filters and if it's a legitimate job offer or inquiry from an employer, it will be forwarded along to your real e-mail address. Aside from spam filtering, the instantposting.com email addresses give you the option of discontinuing job search related email once you land a new position.

Q. What is the "Login Link" column for?
A. To make your job search easier, we provide you with one central place to log in to all your accounts on the job sites. When you log in and view this posting report, you can click any link marked "Auto Login" to be automatically logged in to the corresponding site. With most sites, this option is available. With a few sites, it is not possible for our system to log you in automatically. In these cases, the link in the "Login Link" column will be marked "Login" or "Home Page". Those marked "Login" will take you to the site's login page but you will have to do the actual login yourself - using the username and password the site emailed to you. In some rare cases, a few job sites do not have any ability to log in and update your resume. With these sites, you can only view the home page by clicking the "Home Page" link.

Q. What is the "Login Notes" column for?
A. If there are any special notes about the login procedure for a particular site, they will be noted in this column. This is most often used for the sites that do not allow us to set a password on your behalf. In these cases, the site will email you a login and/or password. With these sites, the note "Login Emailed" is displayed in this column.
